Kim Barnum
Executive Director
Kim came to the BEF in 2024 after a career in Brookline that spanned nearly three decades, teaching at Lincoln, Devotion (now FRR), and Pierce, and working as a professional development consultant. Teacher mentoring and growth and dedication to student success have always been at the core of Kim’s work. She lives in Brookline with her husband, also a longtime Brookline educator.
Jennie Roffman
Associate Director
Jennie came to the BEF in 2021 with many years of volunteer leadership experience in the Pierce and BHS communities, and a background in psychology, human development and social policy. She lives in Brookline; she and her husband Ian are the parents of 3 Pierce alumni who are now a BHS junior and two BHS graduates (class of 2019 and 2022).
