Elizabeth Ascoli

immediate past Executive Director

Elizabeth worked at the BEF from 2014 to 2024, starting as the Associate Director and becoming Executive Director in 2016. She has experience in the nonprofit world, and as a middle school teacher of English and Social Studies. Elizabeth is the parent of a BHS and Runkle graduate, and a third grader. We are grateful to Elizabeth for her 10 years of service!

Jennie Roffman

Interim Director

Jennie came to the BEF in 2021 with many years of volunteer leadership experience in the Pierce and BHS communities, and a background in psychology, human development and social policy. She is serving as the Interim Director while the search for a new Executive Director is conducted, and she is the parent of 3 Pierce alumni who are now a BHS junior and two BHS alumni (class of 2019 and 2022).

Linda Okun

Office Administrator, Volunteer

With a background of teaching and academic administration, Linda has been working as a volunteer at the BEF since 2011. She is also a parent of a Lawrence School and BHS graduate.
