The BEF welcomed Brookline Superintendent Bella Wong to our October Board meeting!
Ms. Wong spoke about the important role BEF grants play in supporting Brookline educators and administrators, and how these opportunities can have a lasting impact on our schools. She delivered a status update on this year’s Systemwide grants, which include two leadership retreats and multiple training opportunities in literacy education and literacy support. (read about all of this year’s Systemwide grants in detail here) She also answered questions from Board members and shared her perspective on the value of continued investment in our educators.
Thank you, Ms. Wong, for joining us and for your ongoing support of the BEF and Brookline Public Schools!
