outgoing BEF board member Devon Powell presents Elizabeth Ascoli with the newly created award in her honor
Created in 2024 to honor outgoing BEF Executive Director Elizabeth Ascoli and to thank her for ten years of service to the BEF, this award recognizes innovation in experiential learning among applicants for Idea Lab grants. The winner receives an additional $500 to enhance their grant application; proposals which demonstrate a commitment to hands-on learning and exploration for students are considered for this award by each year’s Idea Lab grant committee.
