Michelle Mund, Runkle/HS
I’m honored to join the BEF board and support such a wonderful organization. Having been raised by an elementary school teacher, I was aware quite young how important educators are to our community. Watching my mother with her students (her “children”), it was so clear that excellent teachers can make a real difference. My husband and I chose to live in Brookline when our first child was born because we had heard great things about the schools, and we’ve come to understand how much the BEF plays a role in supporting our schools and teachers.
I am a mom to a rising 6th grader at Runkle and a rising 11th grader at the high school. I enjoy volunteering for the Runkle PTO and the BHS Cross Country/Track and Field Boosters. I am also a clinical psychologist and have a private practice. I work with adults in individual therapy and support mental health and well being. In my spare time, I like to exercise, listen to music and podcasts, and take walks with my dog.
I look forward to joining the BEF community.
