Melissa S. Arnold
I grew up in Brookline and am a proud graduate of Baker School and Brookline High School.
After high school I went to Tufts University and then to Boston University School of Law. I have
three children, Griffin in 6th grade, Mavis in 3rd grade and Summer in first grade – all at Baker
School. When I’m not working I am bringing my kids to their various activities where I love
chatting with the other Brookline moms and dads.
I joined the BEF to be part of an organization that supports innovation and excellence in
Brookline classrooms. The teachers clearly benefit from the grants and by extension so do our
children. It has been wonderful to hear first-hand from the grant recipients about how impactful
the grants have been for them and their classrooms.
