I grew up in Brookline, attending Baker School and Brookline High School. Being on the BEF Board has helped me to give back to this district which has given me so much. One of my favorite components of the work has been to serve on the Margaret Metzger Fellowship committee; I was lucky enough to have Ms. Metzger for two English classes at BHS, and consistently cites as one of those teachers who made all the difference. Serving on this committee feels like paying it forward to the next generation of teachers and students.

When I am not at BEF Board meetings, I am directing the Ansin Religious School at Temple Ohabei Shalom just outside of Coolidge Corner. My family lives in Washington Square and our kids go to Driscoll School.
