The six 2022 Metzger fellows will read their personal essays about the craft of teaching. Come share this powerful, inspirational experience with educators, parents, BEF leaders and Brookline community members!

Registration is now open for the 25th Annual 5th Grade Spelling Bee! If your 5th grader is a student at one of the Brookline Public Schools, you can register them by clicking HERE.

The return of the BEF Trivia Bee... in person! We can't wait to catch up with everyone and enjoy this fun evening of community and competition together, all while supporting our amazing Brookline educators!

This annual event is a powerful and inspiring gathering for the Public Schools of Brookline community. We will congratulate this year's grant recipients and award winners, and hear from this year's recipients of the Ernest R. Caverly Award for Excellence in Teaching.

Join us as we celebrate the life and legacy of legendary BHS English teacher Margaret Metzger. This year's Metzger Fellows will share their personal narratives about education. Light refreshments to follow.

Every five years the BEF awards the prestigious Robert I. Sperber Award for Administrative Leadership. This year, the recipient of the Sperber Award is Dan Bresman, the Director of Brookline High School's School Within A School program. All are welcome to come to the award presentation, which will feature addresses and performances from Dan's colleagues, students, SWS alumni, and a speech from Dan himself.
