Every five years the BEF awards the prestigious Robert I. Sperber Award for Administrative Leadership. This year, the recipient of the Sperber Award is Dan Bresman, the Director of Brookline High School's School Within A School program. All are welcome to come to the award presentation, which will feature addresses and performances from Dan's colleagues, students, SWS alumni, and a speech from Dan himself. The annual gathering for the recipients of this year's Margaret Metzger Fellowships is always a moving, inspiring event. Hear this year's fellows read their personal essays about the craft of teaching, written in collaboration with each other and coach John Andrews (BHS English department chair) this past summer.
