Katie Baca Short Bio

Katie Baca, Ph.D., is a writing consultant. Until this past Spring, she was a longstanding faculty member and administrator in Harvard’s Writing Program. As of fall 2026, she will have three
kids at Runkle (PreK, 2nd, and 5th). In addition to being a regular in the Runkle room parent circuit, Katie served as Treasurer on the Board of the Corner Co-op Nursery School in
Brookline. Fun facts: She did her primary schooling in England, she’s proudly Cuban American, and she has a wily hound dog.
