Leakhena Schechter
I have lived in Brookline since 2011. Before becoming a mom, I worked in the
advertising and sales industry. I now moonlight as an Interior Designer. In addition to
joining the BEF, I am on the board of Sitters for Scholars, a nonprofit that offers free,
trusted babysitting to low-income student parents in the Boston area so they can pursue
their educational goals. I also serve as co-chair of the Brookline Early Elementary
Program PTO.
