Suzy Hendriksen
Partner Holotype
As a founding partner of Holotype, Suzy brings together her experience in business strategy, research, and retail to build brands that help her clients transform their industries. Suzy believes that true innovation begins with a deep understanding of people. She is naturally curious, observant, and passionate about creating meaningful experiences for her clients’ customers. Suzy’s experience includes years of strategic brand, business, and retail management as both an operational leader and an expert consultant. She has led and advised companies across a diverse range of sectors and sizes — from one-person start-ups to the Fortune 500’s most iconic brands.
Education and Experience
Suzy has an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BBA from the University of Michigan. Prior to founding Holotype, Suzy worked at The Boston Consulting Group, Bath & Body Works, Nike and Landor.
Civic and Personal
Suzy is proud to serve in both her civic and business communities. She has been as an advisor and mentor to Lightship Foundation, a start-up accelerator focused exclusively on underrepresented founders of tech-driven startups. She has also been an active contributor at ProKids, Cincinnati Zoo, Cincinnati Art Museum, and the Make-a-Wish Foundation – and now BEF! Originally from the Midwest, Suzy has lived and worked in Portland, San Francisco, Chicago, New York, and most recently Cincinnati where she lived until 2022. For eleven months a year, she now lives in Brookline with her husband Chris, their children Daniel (7th) & Audrey (4th), and lovable dog Guster — each summer they all move to another city for a month to immerse themselves in another place and another culture.
